Central Montcalm came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Beal City Aggies with a sharp 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Central Montcalm pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Beal City, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Central Montcalm will square off against New Lothrop at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beal City, they have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Algonac on the 3rd.
