Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, a fact the Lebanon Blue Devils proved on Tuesday. They came out on top against Stewarts Creek by a score of 52-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lebanon.
Lebanon was led to victory by Ta'Kisa Hastings and Maggie Kelley. Hastings scored 15 points along with two steals, while Kelley scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Kelley pulled down eight or more rebounds. Ro Dowell was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will challenge LaVergne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaVergne is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Stewarts Creek will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Smyrna at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Smyrna will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Stewarts Creek is ranked 66th).
