Gibbs has been on the road for two straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Largo Packers at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Largo took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gibbs, who comes in off a win.
Gibbs put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-13 victory over Northeast. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Gibbs has managed all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 64 points the game before, Largo were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Academy of the Holy Names 61-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Largo has scored all season.
Gibbs' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Largo, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
