Southside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angerrelle Gomes-Ramsey, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. Shakem Griffin was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Southside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
Southside will head out on the road to square off against the Fury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fountain Inn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. Wren will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
