Laughlin is 0-10 against White Pine since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Laughlin Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the White Pine Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. Laughlin is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.

Despite the loss, Laughlin saw an underclassman step up: Amora Thomas scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daishanae Jackson, who scored five points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, White Pine also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Lincoln County by a score of 33-26.
Laughlin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for White Pine, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
Laughlin took a serious blow against White Pine in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 51-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of White Pine's Brenley Skadburg, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals.
