They came out on top against the Smithfield-Selma Spartans by a score of  20-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). While fans of East Wake might be used to big wins, the 20-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Emma Powers made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Powers was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news, East Wake got a big performance out of  Sakari Strickland, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Frazier, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 East Wake's victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Smithfield-Selma, they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-17.
 As of now, neither East Wake nor Smithfield-Selma have any future games scheduled.
