The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chicago Hope Academy in their matchups with Latin: they've now lost six in a row.
Chicago Hope Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Amoria Allen, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Nariyah Head who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Head has scored all season.
Chicago Hope Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Latin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.
Chicago Hope Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bishop McNamara at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Bishop McNamara is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Latin, they will square off against Lake Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
