Basketball Recap: JT Esfeller Key Part of a Team Effort in Falcons Win

After losing to Hattiesburg HomeSchool the last time they met, Full Life Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Full Life Christian Academy Falcons walked away with a 34-21 win over the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 616th, while the Forerunners are ranked 199th).

Full Life Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JT Esfeller, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Myles James, who scored nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Full Life Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Full Life Christian Academy beat Hattiesburg HomeSchool by a score of 38-30 later that day.
