In what's become a running theme this season, the NELA Christian Homeschool Flame gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding  39-11 victory over John Paul the Great Academy at home. Given NELA Christian Homeschool's advantage  in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 152nd, while the Guardians are ranked 309th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 NELA Christian Homeschool was led to victory by  Alexis Aulds and  Kambree Frizzell.  Aulds  scored nine points along with four  steals, while  Frizzell  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 11  rebounds. Frizzell is crushing the  rebound category: she's  posted at least ten every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Katie Carter, who  scored four points along with seven  assists and seven  rebounds.
 Despite the  defeat, John Paul the Great Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Mia Fuselier  scored 11 points.
 NELA Christian Homeschool's victory was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. As for John Paul the Great Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
 NELA Christian Homeschool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. John Paul the Great Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
