Bishop O'Connell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Palm Beach Lakes Rams 61-35. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Palm Beach Lakes' loss came despite strong showings from Mariyah Jean and Laniya Hall. Jean went 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds, while Hall posted six points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Azaria Hammond, who had six points.

Bishop O'Connell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Bishop O'Connell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-16 win against Santaluces on the 28th. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-24 victory against Cardinal Newman on the 28th.
