Russell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Neel, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ryder Burgess, who scored ten points.
Russell's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. As for Lewis County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Russell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ironton at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Ironton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Lewis County, they will head out on the road to face off against Villa Madonna at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
