The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Corbett, who posted seven points in addition to 15 boards and three blocks.
Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Decatur, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evergreen will take on Highline at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Decatur, they will square off against Beamer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
