Lehighton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Salisbury Township Falcons as Lehighton made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jayse Lawrence and Cody Snyder did most of the damage at the plate: Lawrence scored a run while going 3-for-5, while Snyder scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Lawrence a new career-high in RBI (three). Keyden Ahner also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Lehighton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salisbury Township only posted an OBP of .385.

Lehighton pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 7.2 runs thus far As for Salisbury Township, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Lehighton will venture away from home to take on Palisades at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Palisades' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Lehighton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Salisbury Township, they will be playing at home against Northern Lehigh at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Salisbury Township is facing Northern Lehigh at the right time seeing as Northern Lehigh is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
