Meanwhile, Flinthills unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cedar Vale/Dexter.
Central's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3-1. As for Flinthills, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Central was able to grind out a solid win over the Mustangs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 70-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
