Northside has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 21. They came up short against the Fleming Colonels on Tuesday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Northside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Fleming are ranked 58th).

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-3. As for Fleming, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
