Riverdale Christian took a 53-35 bruising from Kings Christian. Riverdale Christian has struggled against Kings Christian recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Ronnie Roche continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kings Christian, scoring 29 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least 25% of Kings Christian's points. Elyas Miro was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Riverdale Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Kings Christian, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
Riverdale Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Laton at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Laton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. Kings Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Parlier at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th. Parlier is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
