Central Florida Christian Academy dropped their record down to 7-8 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 17-0 to the Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Zephyrhills Christian Academy's part, Sergio Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Garcia has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. Another player making a difference was Peyton Ward, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Central Florida Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 13-4 loss against Legacy Charter on the 14th. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 12th.
