The biggest upset of the week belonged to Union, who took down 79th ranked Park City, 28-27.
Juan Diego Catholic extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region 10 this week by beating Uintah, 54-3. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Wasatch's James Delacenserie and Kayden Connor have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Delacenserie has thrown for 1498 yards this season, while Connor, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 27 catches for 492 yards. The Miners' Alex Boyle leads the league in rushing yards with 571.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Juan Diego Catholic takes on second place Wasatch. Juan Diego Catholic topped the Utes last week, while the Wasps bested Judge Memorial.
There should be lots of points scored when Wasatch and John Colosimo's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Steve Coburn's team comes in having scored 201 this season, while the Soaring Eagles have scored 232. The Wasps scored 42 points last week as they defeated the Bulldogs.
