The Fairfield Falcons lost against the Glenn Falcons back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Fairfield lost to Glenn on the road by a decisive 25-8 margin.
Glenn was led to victory by Mason Kobelt and Chase Miller. Kobelt gained 103 total yards and a touchdown, while Miller rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Miller's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Ty'ronn Larkin also helped out with an impressive 110 receiving yards.
Fairfield's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 6-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Glenn, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Glenn will head out on the road to face off against Knox at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Knox will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
