It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Prosper Eagles can now relate to. They were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday. Prosper's loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Nathan Tenbarge threw for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Ashton Searl was his usual excellent self, rushing for 206 yards and four touchdowns for North Crowley. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Jimerson, who threw for 128 yards and a touchdown.
Prosper's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for North Crowley, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
Prosper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Crowley will head out on the road to face off against Allen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Allen will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
