Kent-Meridian will challenge Jefferson on the road at 6:00 PM on Saturday. Jefferson will need to watch out since Kent-Meridian have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
In almost any game, 51 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. Kent-Meridian took a hard 51-71 fall against Kentridge.
Last Friday, Jefferson were close but not close enough as they fell 19-21 to Mt. Rainier.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
