They were the clear victor by a 64-42 margin over Front Range Christian. Dayspring Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Dayspring Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hudson Weigt out in front who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Weigt has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Mcclanahan, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Zach Woo and Caleb Harms certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Woo scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Harms scored 11 points. Woo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Gold, who scored four points along with two steals.
Dayspring Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Front Range Christian, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Dayspring Christian Academy will take on Bishop Machebeuf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
