Softball Recap: Notre Dame Extends Winning Streak to Seven

While Notre Dame put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Erath. The Pioneers blew past the Bobcats 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won 20 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Notre Dame got a massive performance out of Lillian Guidry, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Guidry has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kenley Sonnier, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Notre Dame always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .731. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Erath only posted an OBP of .250.

The win (which was Notre Dame's seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Erath, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12.

Coming up, Notre Dame will take on St. Thomas More at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erath, they will challenge Berwick at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
