John Paul the Great Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season.
John Paul the Great Academy found their leader in underclassman Riley Lormand, who scored 18 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Lormand scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Bobby Odinet, who scored 12 points.
John Paul the Great Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Immanuel Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Paul the Great Academy will take on Word of God Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
