Ella Ryan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Castagna, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Franklin was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 52-51 to Ravenwood. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Franklin in their matchups with Ravenwood: they've now lost eight in a row.
Brentwood's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
