Delone Catholic has been on the road for two straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Eastern York Golden Knights at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Last Saturday, Delone Catholic suffered a  rough 9-3 defeat at the hands of Kutztown.
 Delone Catholic saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aidan Wittmer, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Matthew Mummert, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Even though they lost, Delone Catholic was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. That's the best  batting average they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Eastern York got themselves on the board against Dover on Monday, but Dover never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with  a  12-0 win. Eastern York's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Delone Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Eastern York, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
 Delone Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern York  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023, sneaking past  4-2. Will Delone Catholic repeat their success,  or does  Eastern York have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
