The Greer Yellow Jackets won the last time they faced the Eastside Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Greer walked away with a 50-38 victory over the Eagles.
Despite the defeat, Eastside saw an underclassman step up: Laila Harvey scored 15 points. Kristen Mcbride was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Greer's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Eastside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
Greer will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Riverside is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games. As for Eastside, they will head out on the road to square off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laurens is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
