Colton Burrmann looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cypress Creek is undefeated when Burrmann allows one or fewer hits, but 3-4 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Cypress Creek let Gavyn Mullis and Jason Olds run wild. Mullis went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Olds went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Eli Chana was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

On Wesley Chapel's side, they got a good showing from Nick Walters, who pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Walters has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Nolan Hartley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Sean Roche also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Coming up, Cypress Creek will welcome East Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wesley Chapel, they will head out on the road to face off against River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
