Fort LeBoeuf has gone a perfect 3-0 against Meadville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bison will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Fort LeBoeuf's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Meadville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Fort LeBoeuf got the win against Erie by a conclusive 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bridget Zaczyk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Ibree Rodgers and Lillian McKinney did most of the damage at the plate: Rodgers went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while McKinney went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases McKinney has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Paige Shields, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Meadville's offense. They lost 15-0 to McDowell on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Fort LeBoeuf pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Meadville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Everything went Fort LeBoeuf's way against Meadville in their previous meeting on April 1st, as Fort LeBoeuf made off with a 17-5 victory. Do the Bison have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
