Mother McAuley won the last time they faced Lyons and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mighty Macs blew past the Lions 11-5. The Mighty Macs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Mother McAuley's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Lyons, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mother McAuley will host Providence Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lyons, they will welcome Glenbard West at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hilltoppers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
