 In other pitching news,  Kyra Olsen looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  Leilani Muller was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Sarah Deng, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Scripps Ranch waltzed into their match  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by  an  11-3 margin over the Cavers.
 Like Westview, Scripps Ranch also got a great game from a two-way player:  Tori Turfler. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. Turfler was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, two  additional runs,  and  an  additional RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sarah Cornelissen, who  went 4-for-4 with five  RBI and a  run.  Sam Mather was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Westview's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs per game. As for Scripps Ranch, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 6-3.
