Sierra Foothill League Top Player Performances of the Week

Lillian Mcdaniel Dazzles in Granite Bay Win
Starting off the list is Granite Bay's Lillian McDaniel, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. McDaniel threw for 203 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.2% of her passes, and also rushed for 88 yards on only nine carries.
The victory was the third in a row for Granite Bay, bringing their record for this year to 9-6. McDaniel and Granite Bay will venture away from home to take on Folsom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Im Made Her Presence Known in Whitney's 31-0 Win
Lulu Im put up the most rushing yards she's had since back in September on Thursday. She threw for 105 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards on only six carries.
Folsom had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Im it was a similar story. When Im last faced the Bulldogs back in September, she threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards.

Alexa Randall Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Alexa Randall posting her best game of the season wasn't enough to lead St. Francis over Del Oro on Thursday. Randall made five total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which she returned one-yard for a touchdown.
St. Francis is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14. Randall and St. Francis will be playing at home against Whitney at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Leilani Teaupa Makes It Two for Granite Bay
The second Granite Bay player making an appearance here is Leilani Teaupa, and for good reason. She picked up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 55 yards on only six carries.
If the past is any indication, Teaupa could be in store for another big game when she takes on Folsom on Thursday. When Teaupa last faced the Bulldogs back in September, she rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Pitzer Came Up Big in Del Oro's 27-20 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Sam Pitzer of Del Oro. Pitzer picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Pitzer could be in store for another big game when she takes on St. Francis on Tuesday. When Pitzer last faced the Troubadours back in September, she picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
