The Jacksboro Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Henrietta Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Jacksboro's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
Jacksboro is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Millsap: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 48-7 final score. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Wyatt Gavit had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 342 yards and five TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Jacksboro's leading receiver Isaac Wesson was Gavit's top target yet again, picking up 117 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Jacksboro, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kase Dennis, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Henrietta and City View have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bearcats were beaten by the Mustangs 51-19.
Jacksboro will have to contain Cruse Coleman as he made an impact in Henrietta's last game. He rushed for 172 yards and two scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Coleman is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 140 every time he's taken the field this season.
Jacksboro's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Henrietta, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Jacksboro has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 397.7 total yards per game. However, it's not like Henrietta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 401.1 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Everything came up roses for Jacksboro against Henrietta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
