The Cottonwood Colts will head out to face off against the Park City Miners at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cottonwood has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Cottonwood was handed a 21-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan, sneaking past 14-12. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Colts' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Gretta Lewis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks.
