Bethany hasn't had much luck against Tuttle recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bronchos will venture away from home to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bethany proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 27-26 photo finish over Blanchard. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bethany's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody McLaren, who threw for 100 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 68 yards. Those 68 rushing yards gave McLaren a new career-high. Jagger Weaver made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Bethany didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Blanchard to a completion percentage of just 45.5%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Seth Greiner, Breck Brady, and Damyen Aguilar, who each logged one passes deflected. Bethany wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 64.7%.
Bethany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Weaver and Wyatt Keefer. Weaver got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Tuttle strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Madill 69-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Wildcats are ranked 209th).
A big part of Tuttle's victory came down to the chemistry between Cruz Campbell and his top target Jalen Lane. Campbell threw for 157 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing while Lane picked up 77 receiving yards and three scores. Brody Dobbs was another key player, rushing for 68 yards and one TD on only nine carries.
Bethany now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tuttle, their record now sits at 5-0.
Bethany suffered a grim 24-0 defeat to Tuttle when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Bronchos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
