The Stoney Creek Cougars have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Adams Highlanders next week. Stoney Creek won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
The Cougars escaped with a win against Farmington by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-39, which was the final score in Adams' tilt against Groves on Friday. Adams was down 57-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Stoney Creek's win brought them up to 7-8 while the Highlanders' defeat pulled them down to 5-12. Stoney Creek is 2-4 after wins this season, and Adams is 3-8 after losses.
