Julian Sparks tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Chichester let Alex Kester and Logan Werley run wild. Kester went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Werley scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those three RBI gave Kester a new career-high. Cole Sanford was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
Chichester kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Interboro only managed six hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Chester was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against Berks Catholic, falling 20-2.
Chichester now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Chester's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Chichester has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Chester, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Chichester's sizable advantage in that area, the Clippers will need to find a way to close that gap.
