Quitman fell to Midland 0-20 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Quitman made easy work of Midland on Friday and carried off a 32-0 victory. Quitman were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. The contest pushed Midland down to 0-2 and pulled Quitman up to the reverse at 2-0.
Quitman will stay at home next week against Marshall at 7:00 PM. As for Midland, they will face off against Cedar Ridge.
