The West Nassau Warriors will challenge the Dixie County Bears at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. West Nassau will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
 West Nassau and Halifax Academy met for a duel  on Friday where West Nassau prevailed. West Nassau blew past Halifax Academy 42-12 at home. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 27  points or more this season.
 West Nassau got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Avery Griffin out in front who picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. Another signal caller making a difference was  Pryce Arnold, who threw for 95 yards and three touchdowns.
 West Nassau didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Nate Batrous and  Preston Coker.  Fisher Johnson was another major factor on D,  making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, West Nassau was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 258  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 169  rushing yards in nine consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile,  after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Dixie County brought some dynamite into their most recent  match. They took down Hamilton County 39-20  on Thursday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 West Nassau's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Dixie County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
