Xavier Young put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

Young's strong effort led Window Rock over Tuba City and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Scouts are 7-2 against the Warriors going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
