Basketball Recap: Lincoln Lutheran Finds Playoff Glory Versus Fillmore Central

With a playoff win on the line, Lincoln Lutheran rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-26 win over the Fillmore Central Panthers. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Jacob Duitsman was his usual excellent self, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 27 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Dawson Guerber also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Lincoln Lutheran was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Fillmore Central still got an impressive performance from Daniel Stoner, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Stoner is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game.

Lincoln Lutheran has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. Fillmore Central's loss dropped their record down to 21-6.

Lincoln Lutheran has already played their next match, a 54-47 defeat against Ashland-Greenwood on the 14th. Fillmore Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
