After only two  runs in their last  game, Apollo Ridge made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Shady Side Academy  on Monday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp  16-1 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.
 Mikaila Ditty made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Apollo Ridge let  Jocelyn Snyder and  Madison Butler run wild. Snyder  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Butler  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  Snyder has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Giana Pals, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Apollo Ridge was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shady Side Academy only posted a  batting average of  .143.
