Oakville was led to victory by Ui Siufanua, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Thursday. Siufanua went 10 for 20 on her way to 26 points in addition to six steals and five boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Siufanua and Oakville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Crescent at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. The Acorns got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Loggers, probably because Siufanua had a solid game then too: she dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists.
