After a string of seven wins, the Kimball Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 67-48 bruising from White. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kimball of the 63-53 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Kimball lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylin Hancock, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Jaylon Dean-vines was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Kimball's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12. As for White, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Adamson the next time they take the court. Kimball will head out to face the Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Longhorns will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
