It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Garber Wolverines had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past Shattuck with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. Winning may never get old, but Garber sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Carson Bishop had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 304 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. Bishop's longest rush was for an incredible 94 yards. Domingo Ramirez was another key contributor, rushing for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Garber now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Shattuck, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Garber will square off against Velma-Alma at TBD on Friday. Velma-Alma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 536 points over their last ten matchups. Shattuck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
