They came out on top against Atlantic Shores Christian by a score of 67-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hampton Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean O'Connor out in front who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. O'Connor is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryce Harris, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 assists.
Hampton Christian Academy's victory was their 18th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.2 points per game. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Hampton Christian Academy will face off against Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Greenbrier Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portsmouth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth Christian is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
