Dae'cion Echols Turns in Season-Best Performance
Muncie Central was led to victory by Dae'Cion Echols, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Echols rushed for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.
Echols must have Richmond's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Echols rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Red Devils duked it out back in September of 2023.

Kokomo Gets a Boost from Pollard in 29-28 Defeat
Kokomo was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Keemarion Pollard did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Pollard was still balling out as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Pollard and Kokomo will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Pollard will face off against Tyler Brigham, the Mavericks' star RB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
