Olympia has gone 8-2 against Graham-Kapowsin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Olympia is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
On Wednesday, Olympia was able to grind out a solid victory over Yelm, taking the game 5-2.
Ava Bautista spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Olympia's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Katelyn Pearson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave Pearson a new career-high. Brooklyn Crass also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Graham-Kapowsin made sure to put some runs up on the board against Bonney Lake on Wednesday. The Eagles blew past the Panthers 13-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
Marley McDaniel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Riley Nieblas, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Graham-Kapowsin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Graham-Kapowsin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Olympia, their record is now 10-7.
Both Olympia and Graham-Kapowsin just can't seem to miss. The Bears have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Graham-Kapowsin struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.9 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Olympia might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Graham-Kapowsin in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
