Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Luther Prep). They walked away with a 77-67 win over the St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Lancers on Monday. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wesley Chapman, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and 14 boards. The matchup was Chapman's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mamadou N'Diaye, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Luther Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.
