On Friday Griswold take on Essex at 7:00 PM. Griswold are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Fremont-Mills, Griswold were happy to find some success last Friday. Griswold enjoyed a cozy 60-42 win over Clarinda Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for Griswold as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their contest two weeks ago, Essex were humbled. They took a serious blow against Stanton, falling 8-68. Essex's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Griswold's win lifted them to 1-5 while Essex's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Griswold's success rolls on or if Essex are able to steal their positive momentum.
